All-Star tournament at Arbalet Cup Asia 2010 was won by the team of Wind, following a 2-1 victory against Fire in the Grand Final.
The All-Star tournament finalized this evening, seeing Wind take on Fire in the Grand Final. Both teams consisted of players from the former USSR.
Surprisingly, the first map was de_tuscan, which turned out to be an interesting affair. Both teams scored eleven rounds as T, which meant the map had to be settled in overtime. In overtime, Fire showed the upperhand, taking a 4-1 win, winning 19-16 overall on the first map.
Moving to second map, de_train was to be played. Wind got to start as CT and showed some solid play, going on to take 14-1 before switching to the T side. Wind only gave away three rounds, before they managed to take the two rounds needed to win 16-4.
Last and all deciding map de_inferno, saw win start on the T side. The attacking side fitted the team very well, who over and over read the defensive setup, entering those bombsites with success. Wind managed a 12-3 lead at half-time and Fire had a big task ahead of them. The team did, howeve,r go deep and went for it and with great success. Only towards the end, Fire stumbled on uncontrolled retakes, which hurt them bad, seeing Wind win 16-13 on de_inferno.
