Ukraine announces WCG qualifier

Ukraine will once again play host to a World Cyber Games qualifier, where the top team will represent the country in the Busan, where the 2011 edition of WCG will take place from December 8-11.

Information regarding the Ukrainian qualification for WCG 2011 has been released. Seven qualifiers will take place, located in the following cities:

August 13-14, Kharkov - Chatrix TNT
August 13-14, Simferopol - Atlantis
August 20-21, Lvov - Arena
August 20-21, Donetsk - Donetsk Kybersport Arena
August 27-28, - 28.08, Odessa - Hangar 18
August 27-28, - 28.08, Dnepropetrovsk - Chatrix
September 3-4, Kiev - C-Club

The top teams from each qualifier will meet at the Ukraine National Final which will take place at the Dream Town Roller-Drom in Kiev on the weekend of September 10-11.

This year the National Final will always be used to determine which team represents Ukraine at the Samsung European Championship. SEC 2011 will take place October 6-9 at the Centrum EXPO XXI.

The winner of the National Final will also receive the invite to the WCG World Final plus flights and accommodation to South Korea.

Last year Natus Vincere defeated KerchNET 2-0 in the final of the Ukrainian National Final, and then went on to take home the Gold in the World Final. Will they make it back to back wins ?
