Lions cause Na´Vi bummer

Lions have repeated their IEM5 European Championship win over Na´Vi, beating the Ukrainian side 16-9 on de_tuscan.

The Swedish side had surprised in Kiev, when they beat Na´Vi on de_train in the group stage, but in Hannover they did it again and conquered their first three points in the competition.

Na´Vi suffer first defeat

Lions started out as CT and stopped Na´Vi's slow tactics most of the time, going into the second half up by three rounds. With Na´Vi on the defensive side, a swift response was expected from the Ukrainians, but Lions were always one step ahead, as Na´Vi looked way off at times.

This results puts Na´Vi in fifth place in the group as they get leapfrogged by the Swedish side. The Ukrainian giants will now taken on redCode, while Lions will lock horns with Swedish rivals SK Gaming.
